How do open homes work?

A seller schedules an open-home time, publishes it with the listing and welcomes interested buyers at the property.

The seller chooses a date, start time, end time and any instructions, then schedules the open home in FiSBO. Published times can appear on the listing so buyers know when to attend.

At the open home, the seller or an agreed helper manages access and answers general questions. Buyers may register their attendance so the seller can follow up with relevant information.

Keep the property safe, remove sensitive belongings and follow any building, tenancy or insurance requirements that apply to your circumstances.
