How long does it take to sell a property with FiSBO?
The time from preparation to settlement varies with readiness, buyer interest, negotiations, conditions and the legal process.
There is no guaranteed timetable. Listing preparation and marketing can be arranged once the property information, assets and plan are ready, but finding a suitable buyer depends on the market and the property.
After an offer is accepted, the parties still need a formal agreement and any agreed conditions must be completed. Settlement occurs on the date in the agreement, subject to the work of the parties and their solicitors.
