Hey there I am Ben Keehan, back in 2015 I was head hunted by Harcourts to work in their Napier office as a real estate sales person. Coming from a sales and tech background I thought my skill set would make me a great agent. I was very good at prospecting, lead gen, securing customers and finding work. But I was not good at playing internal politics, the office bullshit, as I always put clients needs first as the paid the bills.
I soon realised that under the current franchise ownership I could not do what really mattered and after several disagreements with the owner, my contract ended. (Not by my choice)
I went to work for First National, where I could practise realestate in residential, lifestyle, rural and commercial without the restraints of the Harcourts model. But the tech was calling me, I was looking for an extra string of income and started promoting some VR tour software to agents, with dual partnerships with REINZ & Trademe. The uptake from agents was minimal, I starting to think agents didn't really want change.
In 2018 I saw an opportunity to build a software service for homeowners automating the real estate process, going beyond Trademe and being full service for a fixed low fee. The down side was I had to share the revenue with my agent and also the idea canibalised the market. So it got shut down.
In 2019 I decided to leave real estate and build FiSBO® properly, hanging up my license and getting on with it. In 2020 we launched the first campaign, it was a success and since then we have helped people to sell $43,000,000 worth of property for a fixed low fee.
We have two main options from $5K+GST, we will come to your HB residential property and create the campaign with our standard marketing pack and teach you how to do the opens, or for $10K+GST we will do everything and your openhomes!
