Can a buyer edit an offer?
A buyer may be able to edit an offer before acceptance through My Offers, but should check the current status and seek advice before changing terms.
The FiSBO buyer workflow allows an offer to be edited before it is accepted in supported circumstances. Changes can include the amount, timing or conditions captured by the offer.
Review the complete revised offer before submitting it. If the seller has already responded or the offer has moved into a formal agreement, contact the seller and solicitor instead of assuming an edit remains available.
Changing an offer can change its commercial or legal effect. Your solicitor should explain the consequences of significant changes.
