offers-and-negotiation

How do offers work on FiSBO?

A buyer submits price, timing and requested conditions through FiSBO; the seller reviews the offer and chooses how to respond.

A buyer can enter an amount, preferred settlement date, solicitor details and conditions such as finance, a builder's report, LIM report or solicitor approval. The buyer should review the information carefully before submitting.

The seller receives a notification and can consider the offer alongside other interest. Depending on the sale process, the seller may accept, decline, ask questions or negotiate with one or more buyers.

An offer entered in the platform is part of the negotiation workflow. The parties' solicitors prepare and advise on the formal sale and purchase agreement; do not assume a platform submission is the signed contract.
