offers-and-negotiation

Who negotiates with the buyer?

The seller negotiates directly with buyers; FiSBO supplies tools and general support but does not make the seller's decision.

In a private sale, the owner remains in control of the commercial conversation. You can ask questions, request an improved offer, counter terms, accept or decline, subject to the advice of your solicitor.

A campaign assistant can help you understand the workflow and organise information. FiSBO is not the negotiating agent and cannot accept an offer or commit you to a sale.

Keep the solicitor involved when discussions affect conditions, agreement wording, disclosure or legal obligations. Record important changes clearly rather than relying on an informal message alone.
