offers-and-negotiation

What happens when someone makes an offer?

FiSBO records the offer and alerts the seller; the seller reviews it, discusses terms and involves solicitors before a formal agreement.

The offer captures the buyer's proposed price, settlement timing, conditions and solicitor details. The seller receives a notification and can review the offer in the seller workflow.

The seller may accept, decline, ask for clarification or negotiate. Other interested parties may be notified of relevant campaign activity where the selected sale process allows it.

If the seller chooses to proceed, the parties' solicitors work through the formal sale and purchase agreement. Conditions, signatures and legal obligations are handled through that agreement rather than assumed from a button press.
